Guild Library

The RMWG library is composed of two sections – a circulating section and a reference section.  The circulation section has books, periodicals, and DVDs that members can check out. It is open on guild meeting days and other prearranged days. The reference section holds the harder to find material that is not easily accessed. The material is not available to check out, but is available to study.  It is only open by appointment or on special prearranged days. Both sections are available to current members who have paid dues for the current guild year.

Library Information

Guild Library Room

The library room is located on the lower level of our meeting place, the Harvey Park Christian Church. To access the room, follow the signs & go down the stairs. If you can’t do stairs, go around on the outside of the church to the lower level. If the exterior door is not open, knock on one of the double windows next to the door, and one of us will let you in.

Reference Section

The reference section contains approximately 600 items, many not easily accessible to a general reader.  The majority of the collection was obtained by the Guild in 2002 with a view to preserving a body of information and providing members with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of specific aspects of weaving and other fiber-related subjects.  The collection is open on announced dates and sometimes following guild meetings.  Items may be photocopied, or scanned, but not checked out. A listing of the material associated with the reference section and a helpful catalog guide are found below.
